No luck for Swimming today :p

It's been awhile since MooMoo last go swimming, which was about more than a year ago with Piggy.  MooMoo bought herself a new swimsuit and a new pair of goggles to start her swimming workout again.  She got bit motivated reading Piggy's blog and want to get back to her swimming lessons too.  Peer pressure?!?  Hahaha!!

MooMoo got everything ready for swimming, waiting to opening ceremony her new pair of goggles but too bad the weather was pretty unpredictable.  It was still beautiful all the way... but when MooMoo was nearing the swimming pool, there was a sudden downpour. = ((

MooMoo and friend waited awhile for the rain to stop, then walked over the swimming pool.  Although the rain stopped but they would not let us swim as the pool is remained closed till further notice.  So disappointing!  Will have to wait till next week then.

MooMoo hope that this new pair of goggles is really 'anti-fog'.  Hahaha.  Here's some tips from MooMoo's friends to keep the goggles away from fog.  

(1) Pooi... Pooi... Pooi! Disgusting saliva... :p

(2) Anti Fog solution

(3) Johnson Baby's Shampoo

(4) Toothpaste

MooMoo will just stick to option 2, if the anti-fog feature of this new goggles fail.  

* Lucky, MooMoo did 2 classes (Step and Sculpt) today... to compensate for not swimming... feels good that the abs and the butts are aching badly now... kekeke... No pain, no gain... Starting to feel a bit BLUE dy now... Hope these 2 days HAPPY hormones can boost up some energy... = ))

THE SMURFS 2

MooMoo's gym buddies called her a kiddo when she told them she is going to watch SMURFS.  It's always GREAT to be a kiddo.  Everyone gets wrinkles but you can always stay young at heart and enjoy life! Never too old to do whatever makes you happy.  = )))

It's an enjoyable movie for a fun laughter but funny that it actually make MooMoo leaking a bit in the movie.  A new word learnt from the movie... leaking = crying. Hahaha!  It actually set MooMoo tearing a bit at this part towards the end of the movie.

MooMoo loves the part where Papa Smurf said this phrase to Smurfette, "It does not matter where you come from, what matters is what you choose to be".  It is also true that what Papa Smurf said to the rest of the smurfs that "You never give up on famly!"

The 2 little new characters are quite cute, 2 naughties called "Vexy" and "Hackus" that the baddy "Gargamel" created.  Smurfette's voice is actually by Katy Perry and Vexy's voice is by Christina Ricci.  Vexy somewhat reminds MooMoo of Christina Ricci's features.

If you're looking for some fun and laughter, you can go catch this movie but if you're expecting more than that, it will not be that entertaining for you.  La.. la.. la la la la... La.. la la la la... LOL! :p

Despicable Me 2

MooMoo had a GREAT destress movie session, laughing all the way with the gang at the cinema last night, after gym workout.  MooMoo never watch Despicable Me Part 1 before but she enjoyed herself watching Despicable Me 2.  In short, if you need a good laugh, go catch the movie.  

A bad guy whom turn into a good guy... how sweet... Love the Minions so much... they are just so cute and funny... sooo many of them, coming in different shapes and sizes, some with one eye... Hahaha!!!  MooMoo just can't stand it when they turn bad... and it's her favourite colour-Purple! Eeek... they do look ugly with the hair and the teeth.  Reminds MooMoo of Gremlins... so cute but scary when they turn bad. :p

Aren't they so cute?!?  Really don't understand what language they speak... Hahah! Cannot stand it when they start singing the wedding song... "I Swear (Underwear)" song... 

MooMoo loves Agnes, Gru's youngest daughter.  Agnes is so adorable!  Reminds MooMoo of Boo from Monster Inc.  ^=^

Say buh-bye to Bad Hair Day! ^=^

After thinking through for quite some time.... at last, MooMoo decided to chop off all the mess.  She really wanted to keep long hair but it really took ages and she does not have enough patience.  Hahaha!  Well, she have no regrets getting it all short.  She can still grow it back anytime she wants to.  She just need to get it tidy before she goes for her long vacation. ^=^

Thanks to one of her gym buddy to recommend MooMoo the hair stylist.  The hair cut was not cheap but it's worth it.  MooMoo had visited a few stylist before and they all do not dare to cut MooMoo's hair   past shoulder, as MooMoo have a very round and big face.  This new stylist is very daring and she's really good with short hairstyle.  New Look, New Beginning... ^=^

* MooMoo is looking forward to her 'LONG VACATION'!!! Had a GREAT time this weekend and completed her Pilates exam... both theory and practical.... ^=^

2013 2XU Compression Run Race Results

MooMoo's 1st race in year 2013 and this is her 5th half marathon.  MooMoo didn't manage to train up for this 21km.  Thank GOD for the great weather and MooMoo's condition was good that day.  She ran the race with the "Acti-Tape" taping on her knees.  It went well for the 1st 8km but the pain came knocking towards the 2nd leg of the race.  Well, at least the taping reduces the pain and help support the knees. 

She managed to complete her race though it was not her best timing, but still happy to finish it within 3 hours.  ^=^

She got rewarded with a nice medal, a finisher-T for 21km and a bottle of Erdinger Beer.  This is the 1st time, MooMoo ever saw people distributing out free beers after the race.  Hahaha!

Twisted Fairy Tales: Jack the Giant Slayer

MooMoo went to watch "Jack, the Giant Slayer" last Saturday.  It was better than expected but it is not really a show not to be missed.  It was quite entertaining but MooMoo thinks that it would be a bit scary for little kids to watch, especially on the disgusting giants eating people.  And since when Jack gets to marry a princess?!?  Haha... twisted fairy tales. :p

The giants were all very ugly and scary.  They are being portrayed as violent and disgusting.  There's one that looks a bit like 'Gollum' in Lord of the Ring.  

There's this phrase or quote that MooMoo likes from the show....

"Fee Fi Fo Fum, ask not when the thunder come, For between heaven and earth it's a perilous place, Home to a fearsome giant race, Who hunger to conquer the mortals below, Waiting for the seeds of revenge to grow...."

Nowadays, all the fairy tales movies are a bit twisted.... such as 'Cinderella Story', 'Beastly', 'Red Riding Hood', 'Snow White and the Huntsmen', 'Hansel and Gretel'.... and now 'Jack, the Giant Slayer'... What's next in the list?!?  

MooMoo thinks that nowadays, not many little kids know about fairy tales anymore.  When they watch movies like this, they cannot relate back to the fairy tales and it's just a new movie to them.  MooMoo personally still likes the traditional fairy tales and all the princesses in the fairy tales.  ^=^

* MooMoo is lately in the mood for some spooky movie... Looking for some brave kaki to go with her... If Piggy is still in Lion City, she will not be spared.  Hahaha!

Failed Attempt on Tampons

MooMoo have never used tampons before but have been hearing stories on it, whether good or bad.  MooMoo is going for a long 3 weeks trip soon and it definitely would hit the dates.  MooMoo was thinking of either taking medication to delay it or to opt to use tampons.

Therefore, MooMoo decided to try on the tampons option because if take medication, it would be for quite a period.  MooMoo went to check out different types of tampons available in the market.  It is really amazing as there are quite a number of variations.  There were some which comes with cardboard applicator and some with plastic applicator.

After going through a few brands, MooMoo decided to buy Playtex, the one with the plastic applicator and it says it comes with 360 degree protection.  Hahaha!

MooMoo tell you it's really not easy to put in a tampon.  After trying it out, MooMoo decided this is not a good choice for her.  There's so many things to take note and the trouble of putting it in and pulling it out.  =.=!!!  You must make sure you do not sleep with a tampon if you are sleeping for more than 8 hours, else you have the risk of getting "Toxic Shock Syndrome" (TSS).

MooMoo do have some friends who loves to use tampons as they can go exercise freely and even go swimming with it.  You just gotta have some skill putting it at the right spot to feel comfortable.  Well, at least, MooMoo have tried... just too bad, not a good choice for MooMoo.  Else, with tampon she can go for her Balance and Pilates even during her heavy flow.  :p

* A Joke on Tampons.... just for LAUGHS...  ^=^

A man walks into a pharmacy and wanders up and down the aisles. The sales girl notices him and asks him if she can help him. He answers that he is looking for a box of tampons for his wife.  She directs him down the correct aisle. A few minutes later, he deposits a huge bag of cotton balls and a ball of string on the counter.

She says, confused, "Sir, I thought you were looking for some tampons for your wife?He answers, "You see, it's like this, yesterday, I sent my wife to the store to get me a carton of cigarettes, and she came back with a tin of tobacco and some rolling papers; cause it's so much cheaper. So, I figure if I have to roll my own ... so does she.

Candylicious!!!

Lately, this "CANDY CRUSH SAGA" is the latest game craze and addiction.  Previously, everyone was busy playing "Diamond Dash".  Now, everyone's busy crushing candies daily till all getting Diabetes already.  MooMoo started playing this game when her hometown friend ask her to download the game to play with them and to assist them.  MooMoo thought it was just merely a game and how can anyone get addicted to it.  Hahaha!

This game is almost similar to "Diamond Dash" except that there's more challenges to it, other than the speed game.  In every level, there's different challenge for you to resolve, like clearing off the jellies,  hitting specified scores, dropping all the fruits, achieving certain scores within time frame given.  It gets tougher along the way.  Sometimes, it all just depends on luck as well.

After MooMoo started the game, she kinda get hooked on it trying to get pass all the levels.  At the beginning, everything seems simple.  Along the way, comes the chocolates.  MooMoo just hates the chocolates!  For each move you make, the chocolate will grow.  It really gets on your nerves when the chocolate eats your special power 'colour ball'.  By the time you finish clearing up the chocolates, you have very little moves left to achieve your target.  Haha!

There are also bug in the game.  Sometimes, at certain level, MooMoo get stuck with no more moves and the screen just keep blinking even though there's no more moves left.  It should be doing the re-shuffling of the candies.  =p

Sometimes, when you are just so desperate to reach the next level and you ran out of lives, you start spamming people with requests to get them to send you more lives.  MooMoo get messages from Watsapp and Facebook asking her to send them lives and tickets.  Sometimes MooMoo just logged in to send people tickets and lives.  Haha!

MooMoo recalled asking one of her friend for lives and her friend replied, "I'm not GOD so I can't give you life."  LOL! :p

MooMoo still wonder how can some of her friends play so fast till level 200++.  Salute!!!
