Starting a New Journey of Faith

Guess all that have been happening lately have kinda put MooMoo's usual routine of life a bit upside down.  At one point of time, MooMoo felt she was going down wards in the spiral of darkness and if she just let go of everything, she would have just slipped and fall deeply to the endless pit.

MooMoo have been doing much thinking lately and she decided to do something about it.  MooMoo knows that if she does not take charge of her own life, she will be kept hostages in her life, as her life will take charge of her.  She just gotta make all the changes she needs whether she likes it or not.  All she got to do is just to make the very 1st step and start a new journey.

Changes is never easy and it usually makes people uncomfortable.  It requires a lot of perseverance, discipline, heart work and always ready to take risk in trying out things that you never do or experience before.  Not all things may turn out well but at least if it didn't turn out as expected, you have failed trying and not ended up regretting not doing anything at all.

MooMoo did something out of the norm last night.  MooMoo actually went to meet up with a friend's friend and followed her to join a Cell Group meeting with a bunch of strangers.  MooMoo felt that she should start working on her spiritual life and this time, she should be taking actions instead of just saying it over and over but never do anything about it.

At the beginning, MooMoo felt pretty uneasy as she's usually an introvert and anti-social by nature.  Hmmm... MooMoo knows that some may disagree to this but in actual fact, she is really an extreme introvert, except when being around with her close friends, whom she feels comfortable with.  Anyway, things were much better as everyone were very friendly to her.

MooMoo was not very used to the sharing sessions but she does learn some new things during the discussions in the cell group meeting.  Some of the things discussed actually gave her some interesting insights.  Well, guess everyone just got to be open and try to share more in order to learn more.  This reminds MooMoo of the saying... the more you give, the more you will receive.

During the cell group, the topic touched on "Accountability Partnership", which involves in a person whom you can count on to encourage each other, promote growth in you, actually invest time and energy to connect with you.  It is someone whom you can trust, be there for you and support you.  It will also be someone to help you be on track and to pray together and for each other.

This actually leads MooMoo thinking about things like "Never having enough time...".  We always hear people saying "I don't have time" or "I'm very busy" or "I'm not free" or "Time is not enough"... We are constantly drowning ourselves with lots of activities while we only have 24 hours per day and everyone in the world have the same amount of 24 hours, nothing more and nothing less.

Everyone is always busy prioritising their schedule instead of scheduling their priorities.  MooMoo thinks that telling people you do not have time for something or someone is just merely an excuse.  It all depends on whether that something or someone is of certain priority to you.  Sometimes, MooMoo is always guilty as charged.  We would really make time for certain thing or people if we really want to.

Imagine if you're a guy chasing after the girl of your dreams... would you actually tell the girl that you are not free or do not have time when she ask you out?!?  Haha.  But things may change when both got married.  Do you always find time for the things you love to do and always say you do not have time for the things you do not really like to do?!?  Guess it's all about choices and priorities.

Therefore, if you think that something or someone is important to you.... please make time!!! Do not wait till it's too late.  MooMoo really need to make time for God and prayers.  Hope that MooMoo will  commit to her choice and continue her journey no matter what challenges she encounters.  May God bless her and walk with her in this journey to grow her faith stronger each day.

May GOD bless everyone in great health and happiness... and bless my beloved brother in heaven.

* Looking forward to next week as Cutie Pie and parents coming over to visit MooMoo and celebrate her big day... ^=^
