Last day of Tiger Year 2010

Every year, MooMoo would look back and see what she have achieved or not achieved so far throughout the whole year and most of times, she would end up complaining that she have not done enough. As usual, human are never satisfied... or should I change to cows also are never easily satisfied. Kekeke....

Well, let's do it differently this time. Instead of complaining, MooMoo will start counting her blessings for the Tiger Year 2010 and hope it would be even better for the coming Bunny Year 2011....

1. Promoted after 2 years in the Company... of course it comes with MORE work as well. haha.. Hope to get a FAT Bonus next year!

2. Happy to have GREAT supportive and loving family especially MooMoo's mommy. And the latest addition to the family, Cutie Pie is always super cute and very entertaining... now the little one (not so little actually...) is the most loved...precious jewel in the family.

3. Learnt a lot (both good and bad) when doing a good cause for the 'Hair 4 Hope' thingy. And hair still growing slowly after 5 months... and had some li'l surprises along the way....

4. MooMoo had tried to be a better person from last year... working on her 'ATTITUDE'... though had not been the best but has changed quite a lot.... and this would be an ongoing learning process...

5. Had great roomie and housemates to keep the moo-ing life interesting and keep her going all the way... plus the li'l chicky pie who cheers up our days all the times without fail.

6. Had lots and lots of FUN gym-ing and 'STEP-ing' all the way with great gym buddies that I've met in California Fitness. You guys really make working out extra fun!

7. Won a Macbook during lucky draws in Company D&D, which falls on her birthday. Had been winning lots of stuff this year. Never been so lucky... ^=^

8. Completed all her races (except for the Penang Bridge run, thanks to Tiger Airways) with injury free and managed to run her 1st 30km race this year. Working towards 42km...

9. Managed to donate blood during the Christmas season after 3 failed attempts. Hope this will not be the first and last donation in Singapore.

10. Reduced weight from 150lbs to 140lbs which is about 65kg. Not the ideal weight of 60kg but at least there's some achievement there. Look not very much different but at least still looking healthy and fit. Hahaha...

Thank GOD for everything! Well, there are also many other things that are missed out terribly... which needs LOTS of attention next year. MooMoo should not be looking backwards and should be looking forward.... MooMoo will try to plan things out and work on it... Wish her 'All the Best' and hope for a better Bunny Year 2011!!! ^=^

Wish everyone of you out there a very "HAPPY NEW BUNNY YEAR 2011"!!! And may everyone be healthy and happy always.... * Hugs & Kisses * from MooMoo

MooMoo's Races from Year 2008 till 2010

It's pretty amazing when MooMoo looked back and realized that she had done so many runs within these 3 years. A fat MooMoo who used to hate exercise and can't even run for 1km ended up running more and more each year. Hahaha. Guess pretty much thanks to her good buddy, Ms. Mo. If not because of Ms. Mo, MooMoo would never have started running and some more have to pay to run.

Well, MooMoo thinks she didn't do that great this year on the running but she had enjoyed each runs in different ways. Each run was a different experience and gave her different challenges. Hope it will be better next year 2011, which is just a day away. ^=^

What do you see from a 'CRAB' picture?

Everyone of us have different views and perspectives on things we see each day.
What do you see from a 'CRAB' picture?
To some people, it may mean 'FOOD'. To some people, it may mean 'Pain' looking at the size of the pincher. To others, it may mean 'Itch' due to seafood allergies.
Meaning from the WEB....
1.A crab apple tree or its fruit.
2.A quarrelsome, ill-tempered person.
v.crabbed,crab·bing,crabs
v.intr.Informal
To find fault; criticize someone or something.
v.tr.
1.InformalTo interfere with and ruin; spoil.
2.InformalTo find fault with; complain about.
3.To make ill-tempered or sullen.

Well, it can simply mean 'CRAB' = 'CRAP'...

To chinese-ed fella, it may mean "HENG XING BA TAO".... (read in mandarin) - simply could mean unreasonable-always saying and doing things in own ways without regarding other people's feelings.....

Does the expression of the 'crab' actually counts or affects the views? hehe.... ^=^

It's Not Easy to be Me

It's Not Easy to be Me by Five for Fighting

I can’t stand to fly
I’m not that naive
I’m just out to find
The better part of me

I’m more than a bird…I’m more than a plane
More than some pretty face beside a train
It’s not easy to be me

I wish that I could cry
Fall upon my knees
Find a way to lie
'bout a home I’ll never see

It may sound absurd…but don’t be naive
Even Heroes have the right to bleed
I may be disturbed…but won’t you concede
Even Heroes have the right to dream
It’s not easy to be me

Up, up and away…away from me
Well it’s all right…You can all sleep sound tonight
I’m not crazy…or anything…

I can’t stand to fly
I’m not that naive
Men weren’t meant to ride
With clouds between their knees

I’m only a man in a silly red sheet
Digging for kryptonite on this one way street
Only a man in a funny red sheet
Looking for special things inside of me
inside of me ...... inside of me ...(x2)

I’m only a man in a funny red sheet
I’m only a man looking for a dream

I’m only a man in a funny red sheet

It’s not easy ... wu.. hoo.. hoo..
It’s not easy to be me...

* It's the SUPERMAN song... even super heroes does not lead an easy life... ^=^

Thank you so much!! ^=^

Thank you very much for all the lovely wishes and wonderful gifts!!! ^=^
Presents all nicely wrapped...

All the lovely presents revealed... ^=^

Crazy Christmas 2010

MooMoo enjoyed the 'Crazy Christmas 2010' show tonight with Piggy. It was the last show today. The whole Dream Academy cast were great. There were people like Selena Tan, Pam Oei, Sebastian Tan*, Denise Tan, John Lee, Robin Goh, Michaela Therese, Karen Tan, George Chan, RJ Rosales and vocal ensemble Vocaluptuous. Supposingly, MooMoo had free tickets to go watch but there were some technical problems. Therefore, she ended up buying the tickets to go instead. Anyway, she had a great time.

Pocketful of Sunshine

"Pocketful Of Sunshine"

I got a pocket,
Got a pocket full of sunshine
I've got a love and I know that it's all mine
Oh, oh, oh

Do what you want,
But you're never gonna break me,
Dticks and stones are never gonna shake me
Oh, oh, oh

[Chorus]
Take me away (take me away)
A secret place (a secret place)
A sweet escape (a sweet escape)
Take me away (take me away)
Take me away (take me away)
To better days (to better days)
Take me away (take me away)
A hiding place (a hiding place)

I got pocket,
Got a pocket full of sunshine
I've got a love and I know that it's all mine
Oh, oh, oh

Wish that you could,
But you ain't gonna own me
Do anything you can to control me
Oh, oh, oh

[Chorus]
There's a place that I go
That nobody knows
Where the rivers flow
And I call it home
And there's no more lies
And the darkness is light
And nobody cries
there's only butterflies

[Chorus 2x]
The sun is on my side
Take me for a ride
I smile up to the sky
I know I'll be alright
The sun is on my side
Take me for a ride
I smile up to the sky
I know I'll be alright

* I like the way she jumped out of her office building with the parachute... haha...

Crazy Love

MooMoo was reading this book she randomly picked up in the library called 'Crazy Love' by Francis Chan.... and MooMoo come across this interesting phrase to ponder on.

"True Faith is loving a person after he has hurt you."

It is a pretty interesting book which gaves MooMoo some insights after reading it, though it is still a long way till she can practise the above phrase. Hahaha...

Cinderel-Lah!

MooMoo really enjoyed 'Cinderel-Lah' musical on Saturday night with Piggy and the gang.

It was really very entertaining and we laughed non-stop from the beginning till the end. Wild Rice cast are great and we really enjoyed ourselves, though there were delay due to technical errors and 1st half of the show were without the sets. Overall, it was still great! ^=^

Rapunzel

Thumbs Up for 'RAPUNZEL'!!! ^=^

Love it so much... really cheered up my day today. Had been a bit 'EMO' today.... God knows why... but after watching this Walt Disney's 'Tangled' more known as the old classic 'Rapunzel'... MooMoo just felt better after all the non-stop laughters. At some part of the show, it was pretty touching as well....

The animal characters like Pascal, the chameleon and Maximus, the palace guard's horse is so cute and damn funny... especially the horse, which behaves like a doggy. Piggy loves Maximus so much. The songs were great too. MooMoo really enjoyed the show.

If you haven't watch it, go watch it!!! Highly recommended.... Watch with no regrets.

1st Blood Donation in Singapore

It's been 3 years 3 months since MooMoo came to work in Singapore and today is the 1st time she donated blood here. It's not MooMoo's 1st blood donation but she can't recall when was her last blood donation in Malaysia.

MooMoo tried to go for blood donation a few times in Singapore but got rejected due to low iron level and low blood pressure. It's pretty strict here that if you have low iron level, you are strictly not allowed to donate any blood.

MooMoo still remember when she was in Malaysia, they took 3/4 pack of her blood though she have low blood pressure. Hahaha... And she had bad experiences back then... where they keep poking both her hands with needles many times coz they could not find the vein.

Today things went pretty smoothly. MooMoo's iron level hit the borderline of 12.5, which made her eligible to donate. ^=^ After trying for many times, at last she is allowed to donate her blood. Hope this will not be the last time. Just gotta keep my iron level stable.

They were very professional over here. No pain at all... haha... coz they had injected local anaesthetic. And they plaster me with colourful plaster, which you can choose your own colour. Ms. Mo loves it so much coz there's heart shapes all over it... but it didn't tempt her enough to donate some of her blood.

Giving and Receiving

Giving and Receiving

We are taught that it is better to give than to receive.

How can there be a giver if there is no receiver? Allow for the flow of both in your life. This is an abundant place in which we live and the Universe is waiting to offer you the gifts that have your name on them.

When you are feeling rich (emotionally, spiritually, materially), it is so easy to overflow into the lives of others. You are worthy to receive! An allegory to illustrate the beauty of this concept.

Two Brothers.

Once there were two brothers who inherited their father's land. The brothers divided the land in half and each one farmed his own section. Over time, the older brother married and had six children, while the younger brother never married.

One night, the younger brother lay awake. "It's not fair that each of us has half the land to farm," he thought. "My brother has six children to feed and I have none. He should have more grain than I do."

So that night the younger brother went to his silo, gathered a large bundle of wheat, and climbed the hill that separated the two farms and over to his brother's farm. Leaving the wheat in his brother's silo, the younger brother returned home, feeling pleased with himself.

Earlier that very same night, the older brother was also lying awake. "It's not fair that each of us has half the land to farm," he thought. "In my old age my wife and I will have our grown children to take care of us, not to mention grandchildren, while my brother will probably have none. He should at least sell more grain from the fields now so he can provide for himself with dignity in his old age."

So that night, too, he secretly gathered a large bundle of wheat, climbed the hill, left it in his brother's silo, and returned home, feeling pleased with himself. The next morning, the younger brother was surprised to see the amount of grain in his barn unchanged. "I must not have taken as much wheat as I thought," he said, bemused.

"Tonight I'll be sure to take more." That very same moment, his older brother was also standing in his barn, musing much the same thoughts. After night fell, each brother gathered a greater amount of wheat from his barn and in the dark, secretly delivered it to his brother's barn.

The next morning, the brothers were again puzzled and perplexed. "How can I be mistaken?" each one scratched his head. "There's the same amount of grain here as there was before I cleared the pile for my brother. This is impossible! Tonight I'll make no mistake - I'll take the pile down to the very floor. That way I'll be sure the grain gets delivered to my brother."

The third night, more determined than ever, each brother gathered a large pile of wheat from his barn, loaded it onto a cart, and slowly pulled his haul through the fields and up the hill to his brother's barn. At the top of the hill, under the shadow of a moon, each brother noticed a figure in the distance. Who could it be?When the two brothers recognized the form of the other brother and the load he was pulling behind, they realized what had happened. Without a word, they dropped the ropes to their carts and embraced.

Build a life made of love. When we are born, we are sent to this Earth plane with a bag of tools for the purpose of constructing a life. We might think of them as standard issue.

The good news is, they can be used as often as needed and they will always be available.

They come labeled with name tags that might read "ENTHUSIASM, CREATIVITY, INTELLIGENCE, STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY, WISDOM, INSIGHT, LOVE, JOY, TALENT, RESPONSIBILITY, SUCCESS, PLAYFULNESS, COMPASSION, FUN"

How, when and where you use them is solely / soul-ly up to you. Have you looked into your tool bag lately?

"The question is not whether we will die, but how we will live."

How do you choose to live?

Duo Step

MooMoo had fun doing 'Duo Step' at the gym today. ^=^

Actually 'Duo Step' is an advanced Step class which is suppose to do with a partner using 2 boards. You can 1st start with Step 1 (Basic), then moved on to Step 2 (Intermediate) and next to Step 3 (Advanced). Once you are used to all the moves, you can move on to do 'Duo Step'.

Although, this 'Duo Step' is supposed to be done with a partner, not many at the gym are doing it with partner. Everyone have their own 2 boards, which is more known as 'Double Step'. You just have to be more experienced in your moves in order to share board. If you and your partner is of different levels, it would affect each other's workout.

If there's too many people in the class, it would be recommended to share the boards and it can be quite fun doing 'Duo Step' choreography. BUT, not many are willing to share board and step together in class. Hahaha...

Anyway, MooMoo and gang had a great workout doing 'Duo Step' today....

Tennis 1st Session - Failed

* Sigh...

Recently, MooMoo found out that one of her colleagues like to play tennis and she is looking for some kaki. MooMoo have been wanting to pick up tennis all the while and now is the chance. So HAPPY!!! Now, can learn a new sports.

BUT MooMoo's 1st session of Tennis was not successful. All planned and get ready to go but rained heavily.... Too bad the court is not an indoor one. = ((

Guess will have to re-schedule to another session but seems like December is quite packed. I hope it does not have to postpone all the way till next year. Hahaha...

* no tennis... no gym... end up go eat, eat, eat...

Memory Walk 2010

MooMoo went to the "Memory Walk 2010" with her colleagues this morning. It's just a 3.4km simple walk but it was quite fun and she got her FREE umbrella. Hahaha...

MooMoo reached there about 7:30am and this picture looks like a sunset picture. I guess coz the picture was taken facing directly to the sunlight....
The crowd building up at the Marina Bay Floating Platform with all their umbrellas, getting ready for the warm up exercises before the walk.

The umbrella is pretty useful coz it's very hot this morning... All ready for the umbrella mass workout.

Everyone doing the umbrella workout. Right and Left... Up and Down... Twist and Turn... Haha..

At the starting point before the walk.... Check out the guy on the stilts... Feel so hot looking at him... and he have to smile and be active throughout the whole morning in that hot suit... he's very professional... Good job!! ^=^

Here's everyone during the walk.... Look at the guy hanging all the umbrellas on his knapsack...

The sky looks sunny and blue this morning.... MooMoo sweat so much though it's just a short walk and it does not require much energy...
At last, reaching the finishing line.... went to drink MILO and collected the goody bags - just some bottle drinks, a bun and a nice notebook on 'Dementia'.

All the signs put up throughout the whole walk.... all the nice friendly smiley faces... ^=^

MooMoo like the most is the umbrella that looks like a "tongkat" and is very useful for old people to aid them in walking. The handle has a very good grip and the end of the umbrella got the slip-proof thingy to prevent slipping. Real cool... MooMoo will give it to her mommy.
* Ended the day with 6.5km run and a Step class... as well as retail therapy.... ^=^

From Penang Bridge Run to Memory Walk

Since MooMoo will not be able to make it to the Penang Bridge International Marathon (PBIM), she decided to go for the "Memory Walk 2010" tomorrow morning, which is organized by the Alzheimer's Disease Association Singapore.

Her colleagues signed her up but she could not go as it is the same day with the PBIM but now she's free to go. But Ish.. Ish.. Ish... the T-shirt color is GREEN again. Not sure how many more GREEN colour shirts are adding to the collection....
Memory Walk 2010

Time: 7:30am till 12:00 noon
Venue: Marina Bay Floating Platform

Distance: 3.4km after a Mass Umbrella Workout

* something to cheer MooMoo up... all participants will get a FREE umbrella...

Rainbow Garden

MooMoo's company had this "Let's Grow Together" Garden competition and MooMoo have submitted a garden from her section. We were all given some cactus plants and the rest of the stuff would be from ourselves and recommended to be recycled stuffs.

With the limited time MooMoo have, she just whipped up some stuff and ta-da... she came up with this idea "RAINBOW" Garden..... just a simple small little colourful garden. The only thing that takes up more of her time was to come up with the RAINBOW itself. Hahaha....

"RAINBOW" Garden...

"RAINBOW" theme...

And there's "RAINBOW" garden concept that goes with it.... Check it out!

********************************************

Welcome to our "RAINBOW" Garden!

R - RESPECT each other,
A - AIM for the same GOAL,
I - INDIVIDUAL's uniqueness creates SYNERGY,
N - NEVER give up!
B - B. E. E, (Be Emotionally Engaged),
O - OPEN to Ideas,
W - WOW! the customer.

Life is GREAT coz... It's FULL of COLOURS!!!

Every garden is beautiful in its own ways....

To "MAKE LIFE GREAT".... is each and everyone's responsibilities.

To take the "RAINBOW" as an example.... it is so BEAUTIFUL with the combination of the 7 colours (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo & Purple).
Without ANY of the colors, it cannot form as a rainbow. And each individual colours cannot shine on its own to become a rainbow. Imagine RED colour decides to shine on its own without its 6 other fella colours.... it would be just a RED-BOW?!? All the 7 colours must stick together to shine beautifully as a "RAINBOW" in order to "MAKE LIFE GREAT"! ^=^

Therefore, it relates to how each and everyone of us in the department will have to work together as a TEAM to "MAKING LIFE GREAT" at work.... ^=^

********************************************

BUT check this out... there's this department that submitted a "KAMPUNG" house garden... and won the competition obviously. Hahaha... look at how much time they spent building the house. Amazing right?!? Look at the zinc roof.... the house is so real... and the garden is big. Hahaha...

"KAMPONG" Garden...

* well it's the fun of it... great efforts come great winnings.... ^=^

Singapore Marathon 2010

This is MooMoo's 1st time running the 'Standard Chartered Marathon' in Singapore but will only be doing the 10km. Every year, MooMoo will be taking the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) which falls on the same day as the marathon.

Just went to collect the race pack at Singapore Expo last night with Piggy. The whole collection was very well organized. They have splitted the participants into multiple different slots to avoid congestions as there are about 60K participants.

MooMoo helped some of her friends' collected the race packs as well and the Kids' race pack is sooo cute... I like the imprinted 2 little kids on the bag and the running-T. ^=^

Cutie Pack... Imagine Cutie Pie running with me... so cute!!!

Here's MooMoo's Running-T... expected the white one in the poster but it's blue and GREEN Again?!? MooMoo like 'EVEN' numbers on her bib... hehehe....

Here's all the goodies in the racepack... Nice to be given up front... quite a nice goody bag....

They even give out a 'limited edition' NETS-FlashPay card.... cool...

* 2 more weeks to go.... the run will be on 5th December 2010 (Sun)... it will be Ms. Mo's 1st Full Marathon... ALL THE BEST 2 her!!! I'm sure she can do it!!! ^=^

MooMoo supposed to be getting ready to go the airport for my flight to Penang now BUT... due to the stupid Tiger's last minute re-scheduling, MooMoo have to stay put at home this weekend.

There goes MooMoo's 1st Penang Bridge run... all burnt....and the long awaited Penang goodies that she missed so much. * Sigh...

Initial Flight Schedule
===============

New Workout Schedule

MooMoo had recently altered her weekly workout schedule due to some reasons.

Initially, it feels kinda not very right as every week MooMoo seems to be doing the same workout over and over... especially her FAVOURITE STEP class. ^=^

Well, after awhile, it doesn't seem that bad after all. Maybe this change will do MooMoo good in some ways. She can workout more on other parts of her body by doing more Abs work, Balance and Pilates, instead of spending so much time stepping.

Other than that, she can also varies her exercises as doing the same exercises over a long period of time will not get her any fitter. Maybe if possible, MooMoo should slot in some time for YOGA and she needs to start back her every Thursday swimming routine with Ms. Mo. MooMoo needs to work towards her 'Diving License' in order to go diving trips with Ms. Mo.

Averagely, MooMoo do at least 12 hours of exercises per week. Is that just nice or too much?!? Maybe, she should consider becoming a gym instructor since she spent so much time there. Hahaha... ^=^

* Sometimes, MooMoo wish she can erase some parts of her unwanted memories... *sigh... Mon Bluess creeping in dy....

Quote: Karma

"Treat yourself the way you want to be treated."
--- Natasa Porter

I believe that the statement above is quite true. It is so 100% true especially if you treat people badly. Most of the time, if you treat people badly, people just tend to treat you badly in return. BUT... is is not 100% true that if you treat people nicely, in return people treat you nice.

Well, it doesn't mean that people treat you badly, you have to treat people badly. We all got a CHOICE of how to react to people and how to treat people BUT as human nature takes over... we tend to give way to our human values and return the unkindness that we received.

It may be not so encouraging when you believe in the above quote by treating people nicely and expecting people to treat you back nicely... but sometimes some people just fail your expectations.

Therefore, we should treat people nicely without expecting anything in return. Then, we will not get disappointed and we have done our part well without failing our ownself. How other people react to us, we cannot control and it's their CHOICE.

It's always easier said than done but at least we try to do our best.

There's another saying below... Points to ponder... ^=^

"How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours."
---Wayne Dyer

Quote: Praise vs Critism

"The trouble with most of us is that we would rather be ruined by praise than saved by criticism."--- Norman Vincent Peale

Points to Ponder....

Well, it is very TRUE that due to human nature, we love to hear nice comments rather than bad critisms, whether it is true or false. Everyone loves good news. Who loves bad news?!? Would anyone like it if everyday people tell you that you are UGLY or STUPID?!?

I strongly believe that critism can help in many ways.... BUT provided that it is a constructive critism that is true and not some mere sacarstic critisms. And not all praises praises ruin people if it is given at the right time and of course, not praising for the sake of praising without any basis.

It would be cruel of you to tell this girl who is checking out on a new skirt which make her look so fat in it, that she looks great and slim in it. Then, by believing that it is true, she would buy the skirt and wearing it everywhere she go when the skirt does not suit her at all. I think you would do that only if she's your enemy. If she is your friend, you would have told her the truth and ask her to try out another skirt. BUT some people rather shower people with only nice comments and never any negative feedbacks to avoid conflicts and making people unhappy. Sometimes, it can be good but it could be bad as well, depending on the situations. I also believe the saying "If you got nothing nice to say, just stay silence...." but sometimes, just can't help it especially if you are one who can't keep still and quiet even for a minute. ^=^

If you keep telling a child that he/she is UGLY/STUPID everyday eventhough it is not true, the kiddo will grow up believing that he/she is UGLY/STUPID. If the kid is not good looking, it would be better in a way, that you tell them that "Beauty is in the eyes of beholder" - which is quite true, where everybody have their preferences in beautiful things/people. In this way, it is a Win-Win situation without hurting anyone.

As for Praises, it is not something bad but most Asians are not used to praises. Sometimes, by giving some praises at the right time, it could actually help create better relationships, boost confidence, motivates people as well as making people happy around you. If you keep criticising your kids everyday, they might possibly grow up to be a negative fellow. And if you keep praising your kids everyday, it does not mean that your kid would grow up being a positive fellow. You cannot be praising your kids everyday for no reasons right?!? Well, if you praise them when they do good and constructively critisize them when they are not doing well by giving them feedback as well as encouragement, I'm sure they will grow up to be a GREAT kid.

So, please don't be stingy with your praises and before you criticize, think twice. Once words are out of your mouth, it cannot be recovered. Therefore, make sure that your words are always soft coz sometimes you may have to swallow it back. Else, remember the phrase earlier on.... "If you got nothing nice to say, just stay silence...." ^=^

Exercise Effortlessly

MooMoo wonders "How come some people can just do excercises effortlessly?!?"

For example, core exercises, push ups, sit ups, squats, abdominal exercises...

Eventhough MooMoo goes to GYM almost daily but she still feels very tired and aching all over doing all those exercises. Doesn't going to GYM daily counts?!? How long does it take to actually achieve such results?!? *Sigh...

Of course, MooMoo believes in the saying that 'No Pain, No Gain'... Those people that can do the exercises effortlessly must have spend lots of time training. MooMoo always get very motivated looking at how her instructors workout effortlessly during the class.

MooMoo must find some time to research on it and work out a plan for herself to achieve the goal of doing these types of exercises effortlessly. Hopefully, soon... MooMoo can also see herself working out effortlessly... ^=^

After long weekend break...

MooMoo just had a great 'Deepavali' long weekend back home in KL, meeting her parents, family and played with her most doted ‘Cutie Pie’.

MooMoo keep eating non-stop back in KL while she exercised non-stop in SG. This is horrible coz eating non-stop without any exercises few days make her grew sideways so much faster. All she do is eat, sleep and play. The only exercise she get is ‘pau-pau’ (carry) ‘Cutie Pie’.

Everytime, MooMoo go back to KL, ‘Cutie Pie’ will have some new stunts. ‘Cutie Pie’ is getting more and more notty each day and nowadays, she just loves to throw tantrum. She had been pretty moody for the past few days.

MooMoo’s brother bought ‘Cutie Pie’ this baby doll which can talk and respond when you feed her. ‘Cutie Pie’ just hates it and is very scared of it. MooMoo’s mom thinks that the doll is ugly.

Here’s how the doll looks like…. What do you think?!? Hahah…

Well, GOOD times always passes so quickly… Before MooMoo realize it, it’s time to go back to ‘Kiasu’ Island again. Time to get back to work… Both at Office and Gym.

Need to hit back to GYM to STEP, STEP, STEP!!! hahaha.... ^=^

Quote: Different Perspectives

"You can complain because rose have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses" --- Ziggy

LIFE is just how we see things.

In LIFE. each and everyone of us have different perspective of seeing things. Even when you give the SAME thing to DIFFERENT person and ask them the same question, they could possibly give you very different answers.

With regards to the Quote above, please take a look at the pictures below and let me know what do you see or how you interpret from the pictures.

1) Young or Old Lady?!?

2) Half Full or Half Empty Cup?!?
3) A picture of a sad lonely little boy or lucky little boy who have a life to play with the swing?!?

It’s really amazing how we can look at the same picture and interpret it differently. This is what happens in reality as well. I guess each of our personalities plays a big part in how we view things. If you are an optimist, you will see things more positively while if you are a pessimist, you will see things more negatively.

Sometimes, at some point in our life, certain things changed and it may make us think differently and see things in another different perspective. It could be due to certain reasons that we will experience something called the “Paradigm Shift”.

Therefore, whenever we think of something negative… let’s just take a step back and try to look at things at another perspective… who knows, we may get a totally different outcome from there.
Anyway, we cannot be expecting different things if we keep doing the same thing over and over again. ^=^

Quote: Choice in Life

"Life isn’t what you want it to be, it’s what you make it become." ---Anthony Ryan

It is pretty true that most of us spend our whole life thinking how we want our LIFE to be and how it should be. Some actually proceeds to work on what they think or dream about BUT sadly, some just continue spending time to think or dream about it without doing anything.
When one dreams to be RICH, without doing anything, even if you live by 'ADIDAS' tagline -> "Impossible is Nothing".... $$$ won't just fall from the sky. Therefore, in order to get your LIFE to become what you think or dream about, just live by 'NIKE' tagline -> "Just Do It!"
Well, it does not mean that by living up to Nike's tagline, you will always successfully get the LIFE you want but at least you try... and you will never regret in the later part of your LIFE, for not knowing the outcome of something that you have never tried but wanting so much to try.
Sometimes, things just didn't work out as you expected in LIFE but at least you try and know that some things are just never meant to be. So, it's after all our "CHOICE in LIFE"....
Just a sharing of thoughts. ^=^

GE Women10K 2010

This year’s goody bag have got more stuff compared to the previous year but the handbag quality is not that good compared to the FILA bag last year. The MIZUNO running T is not that attractive either. The best running T so far is the one from ADIDAS.
This year, MooMoo reached the starting point on time BUT she is running all alone. Her colleagues are joining the event as well but running the 5km instead of the 10km.
At the finisher point...

After the run at the Carnival....

Look at the muddy field after early morning's rain.... and that's my new shoes from GE.

MC of the day...

Free massage area for the runners....

Everyone crowding at the photobooth to collec their free pictures taken...

The ‘BURGER’ cheerleading team… One of the few teams along the 10K route… this year's cheerleading teams are doing a GREAT job... *thumbs up ^=^
Due to Halloween, runners with costume can win themselves prizes for the best dressed. MooMoo didn’t manage to capture all their pictures but manage to capture a few. There were ghosts, witches, cats, angels, devils, etc…
At one point of them, MooMoo was motivated to run faster coz she spotted a cat running faster than her in front... with the tail wagging at MooMoo, like saying 'buh-bye'.... hahaha... but that cat can really run in her outfit... salute her!!!
One of the runner dressed up as 'GHOST'… running 10K in such hot suit and wig is not easy...
Angel and Devil… the sisters…

The 'Women Pledge'...

Front view of the finisher medal…

Back view of the finisher medal…
Overall, MooMoo thinks that this year’s GE Women 10K is more organized and she enjoyed her run. At some point of time when MooMoo starts to slow down at the 10K route, the funny cheerleading team actually helped motivate her a little. Plus, the weather was pretty good that day. Thank GOD for the smooth run....

MooMoo is so happy that she beat her own best timing during the run though she haven’t got the official timing results yet. ^=^
