28.3-HAPPY Day! ^=^

Today, MooMoo did 3 gym classes; STEP2, BALANCE and PILATES.  All 3 classes were superb today.  After classes, ate so much.  Lots of Output but lots of Input as well.  Guess everything balanced out.  Hahaha.  She ended it with a 10km run towards the evening.  What a great day! ^=^

* MooMoo is feeling sick... both physically and mentally now... hope aunty quick-quick go away by Thursday so that she can go Happy Fish... and hope she sorts out her dilemma soon... =p

MooMoo's Alarm Clock

At last, MooMoo bought herself a 'proper' alarm clock.  Over the years, she have been using her phone and now her iPhone, which is not very healthy with all the radiation.  When she was young, she had a 'human' alarm clock -> her mom.  Hahaha.  OK, this is her 1st step on working towards waking up early every morning.  Good luck and hope this cute little new clock will support MooMoo all the way.

MooMoo googled for some tips and rules on 'how to wake up early'.  After reading some articles, MooMoo have decided to set the Top 5 for her own plans.  Gosh, this is definitely not easy for a sleepyhead like MooMoo, whom is wide awake at night and could not drag herself out of bed in the morning.

Here's MooMoo's Top 5 on 'How to wake up Early':

1) First of all, must remember to set alarm for the next morning before going to sleep every night.  Avoid using 'SNOOZE' button.  This is a really dangerous button, which everyone is guilty of snoozing more than once.  Haha.  Make it a habit to get out of bed when the Alarm rings.

2) Have a compelling reason to wake up early.  Plan for a non-negotiable agenda every morning.  MooMoo must make it a habit to do morning exercises every morning before work.

3) Try to limit the time of playing games, Facebook-ing and surfing the Internet before sleeping.  To change to reading before sleeping would be a better choice to relax the mind before going to bed.  (MooMoo thinks that this is the hardest for now... spent too much time on this every day... =p)

4) Avoid caffeine and avoid drinking too much water before going to sleep.  Caffeine is stimulant and drinking too much water can lead to disruption of quality sleep.  (Although MooMoo do not have problem sleeping after drinking coffee but she will try to be good... LOL!)

5)  Most importantly, try to sleep early and get at least 7-8 hours of sleep.  Establish this as a daily habit and not every other day, including weekends so that your body will slowly adjust to the new timing.  Sooner or later, it will be just natural for you to wake up early every morning. 

Wish MooMoo "GOOD LUCK" and if she succeed in doing this, she will reward herself, provided she can continuously make it a new habit.  MooMoo will start it slow and will be monitoring it for 3 months.  

MooMoo will start this plan tomorrow, waking up to a nice, big breakfast before work.  MooMoo plan to wake up at 7am and now it's 12 midnight.  Time to zZz.  Good Nite!! ^=^

Dr. Seuss' The LORAX

MooMoo went to watch 'The Lorax' with Piggy and another gym buddy today.  It's better than what MooMoo had expected.  MooMoo really enjoyed watching the show and laughing all the way with Piggy.  The 3 little fishes in the movie is damn funny.  LOL!

From this movie, MooMoo have this insight, where Dr. Seuss is trying to send a message across to all that we must always think properly before we proceed to do something, even though sometimes certain things may just seem to be simple.  At the end of the day, the consequences is that the simple thing may end up pretty complicated if you have acted without proper thinking.

It has a beautiful storyline where it actually shows how important the environment is and if we do not protect it, sooner or later, it would be destroyed and be gone forever due to Industrialism and all.  Other than that, it shows that there's always HOPE if someone actually really cares. 

A great movie to end MooMoo's Sunday night and prepare her for the coming week and ushering her Monday Blues tomorrow at work.  Hahaha.  Ganbatte!! ^=^

MooMoo's 1st RED Dress... ^=^

MooMoo actually bought herself a "RED" dress, when out for a 'Shopping Spree' with Piggy today.  This is her 1st RED dress.  MooMoo is always getting herself BLACK dresses or even Purple and Blue ones, but usually RED is out of the league.  MooMoo thought why not try something different from the usual, since the Red dress looks quite good on MooMoo as well.  There's always a saying, "Every woman must have a little Black dress."  Hahaha... Since MooMoo have already lots of Black dresses, she's just adding some bright colours to her wardrobe.  ^=^

Coffee Stars - Yummy!

MooMoo had a sinful tea break with Piggy today after shopping the whole afternoon.  We went to a Thai Cafe called 'Coffee Stars' at Level 1, Wisma Atria in Orchard.  We ordered a 'Blueberry Cheesecake' and 'Caramel Cheesecake'.  It's really Yummy but it's quite pricey though.  One piece of cake cost about $7 to $9.  The total bill is actually about $37++ for 2 cakes and 2 drinks.

There are also other varieties like Strawberry, Mango, Green Tea, Durian as well as Chocolate cakes.  We didn't order Chocolate cake coz Piggy is not a big fan of Chocolate cakes.  Piggy wanted to eat the Durian cake but MooMoo not a big fan of Durian cakes so we end up ordering 2 Cheese cakes.  Haha.  There are also other main dishes but we were just stopping by for some cakes and drinks.  

Apparently, the review online state the services were good but when we were there, we only see black faces of waiter and waitresses.  Maybe, Piggy and MooMoo went at the wrong timing as we even met black face customer sitting next to us, giving us the death stare, even when I tried smiling at him.           LOL!!! =p

HaPPy Meal! ^=^

Today, MooMoo's Chinese teacher is not free so there's no class in the morning.  MooMoo went for an early morning Balance class, which is not her usual Saturday routine.  It feels great after a good stretching workout. 

After the workout, MooMoo happened to bump into an old ex-colleague.  Therefore, we ended up lunching together and catch up on things.  After splitting up, MooMoo went window shopping for awhile, before heading home to have a leisure Saturday at home.

On the way home, MooMoo got so tempted and ended up buying a whole set of 'HAPPY Meal' for tea break, which is a heavy one.  Hahaha.  The new Crispy Chicken Burger is yummy as it is made out of thigh meat, so it's not too dry.  MooMoo also tried the new Chicken McBites, which is just so so only.  She topped up the meal with an 'Expresso Latte'. Yum! Yum!  ^=^  

* Tomorrow must go SHOPPING spree to burn off all the extra calories...  Just hope that MooMoo don't burn too big a hole in her wallet instead.  Hahaha...  It has been quite a while since MooMoo last go shopping.  Looking forward to go shopping with Piggy tomorrow.

* LOL!  MooMoo just crapping on favourite workout.  Without her realizing it, the LOVE for Balance have grown over time and MooMoo can't recall when she started doing Balance as she has been doing it and off last time, just that lately it's quite consistent.  MooMoo used to go Balance to company Ms. Mo.  Then, she realized that she is now going because she wants to and not because she have to or just to accompany people to class.  MooMoo usually do not like to go class alone but guess the love for Balance have grown till it has become part of her weekly routine and she doesn't even mind to go alone. Different instructors have different styles in conducting the classes but the movements and poses are pretty standard in nature.  Check out Balance class if you have the chance.  It's either you like it or you hate it.  Hahaha!!!

Draw Something Addiction

Lately, MooMoo is really addicted to the iPhone apps 'DRAW SOMETHING'.   She have been playing it day and night, except during working hours.  Haha.  She invited all her friends and made Piggy as well as Tapir download the game and play with her.  She is so crazy that she even played with Piggy's friends.  Piggy's friends are very funny.  This game really brings lots of laughter trying to guess what people draw and trying to make people guess the correct words with own drawings.  It's really a FUN Game.  Check it out if you're Free!  ^=^

GREEN Fingers Day

Today is a rare day for MooMoo.  MooMoo wanted to wake up for an early LSD (Long Slow Distance) run in the morning but as usual, the night before she was too intoxicated with her iPhone.  Therefore, she only woke up around 930am.  

After showering, she went to take bus to "FAR EAST FLORA" at Thomson Road.  She decided to go get some plants to help her colleagues replant their Terrariums.  This is the 1st time going there.  After checking out the bus schedule, she hopped on the bus and off to the plant nursery.

The place is really huge with different sections for BIG plants, small plants, indoor plants, creeping plants, etc.  There were even another section for fresh cut flowers.  They even have trolleys for you to do plants shopping.  Cool yea...

Here's rows and rows of different sections for different types of plants.  They are also selling different types of pots and accessories to go with it.  

Here's all the Greens... without any flowers...  for those who like the 'Lalang-Lalang'... guess the one with the flowers are more difficult to take care and maintain as it will die faster... if not enough TLC (Tender Loving Care)

Here's one section for all the 'Terrariums'...  It's like a mini garden that's easy to maintain and does not need a lot of maintenance.  Looks real nice when they put all the plants together but it's pretty expensive.  It ranges for $50-$100++.

Then, there's the cactus section with all the colourful cactus.  MooMoo bought a couple of cactus as they just look so colourful and lovely.

There's also the Orchids section but MooMoo's not a big fan of Orchids though they all look so lovely.  Anyway, there's no room for big plants at MooMoo's house in Lion City.... not even her house.  LOL!!

MooMoo found a section with all the 'Heart' shape cactus... so CUTE!!! They are so creative as they painted the heart shape cactus with colourful paint.  Nice yea....

Here's some more of the 'HEART' shape cactus.  MooMoo's got one at home too... from Ms. Mo... it's guarded by Prickles the Porcupine... Haha!!

And guess what?!?  The 'Heart' shape cactus actually came from this plant... the original plant looks funny yea... kinda ugly actually... Haha... Ok, beauty lies in eyes of the beholder.... =p

MooMoo took this picture from the Fresh Flowers corner.  MooMoo just love the WHITE Roses... they look so white and lovely... ^=^

In the end, MooMoo decided to buy these plants and 2 cactus.  After buying the plants, she rushed back home to grab her gym bag and headed off to GYM to generate her HAPPY hormones.  ^=^

Maybe MooMoo should test out the Terrariums with cactus plant.  It could possibly survive longer since it does not need much water.

After 3 Lessons... LOL!! ^=^

MooMoo trying to practise her Chinese... blogging a short passage in Chinese after her 3rd lesson.  She is having lots of problem with her Macbook trying to read her Chinese characters and all.  Therefore, she typed in her iPhone 1st and posted it up.  So troublesome...  MooMoo can't seem to get the correct character 'nu' which denotes female, so mind the mistake.  She is really having fun with reading and writing of the Chinese characters.  It is so much easier to absorb compared to her Japanese.  = )

Feels like 'JAP'...

Today MooMoo just craves for Japanese food... dropped by 'Ichiban Sushi' after her gym workout.  MooMoo only did Step and Balance today but ate so much.  Gosh... Input more than Output... Equation not very right... Need to have more Output tomorrow.  Hahaha!! =p

MooMoo ordered the 'Hotate Nabe' set that comes with Sashimi Salmon and her favourite Chawanmushi, as well as Teriyaki Chicken.  Yummy!!! ~slurp slurp~

After her main meal, MooMoo ordered some some sushi too.  She ordered her favourite California rolls and Inari Sushi.  The waiters and waitresses kept looking at MooMoo... must be wondering how come MooMoo eat so much.  LOL!! 

After that, MooMoo top it up with the 'Japanese Cheese Cake' for dessert and her favourite 'Iced Latte' from McCafe.  Enough for the day... Hahaha.
