MooMoo's 3rd run in year 2011 -> SG Passion Run
At the starting point, waiting for the flag-off for the 3rd wave at 4:50pm. Thank GOD the weather was GREAT that day and it was really a plus point to complete the run smoothly.
The VIPs and officials flagging-off the race. Everyone was cheering but MooMoo and friends do not know who they are. Hahaha...
At the 1st drinking point, something to motivate the runners to continue running.... ^=^
1st lap of the race was still OK... MooMoo took about 55 mins to complete the 1st 8km, which took an average time of 7 mins per 1km. MooMoo was trying to find her pacer along the way but her pacer seems to disappear after awhile and she would have to find a new one. Either she is getting slower and slower or the pacer is getting faster and faster. Hahaha...
Another motivational quote along the way past 9km... Run Run Run... MooMoo see more and more people slowing down nearing to 10km marking... and people started to walk...
At last, MooMoo so happy to see 10km marking... another 15km to go... You can see people slowing down to rest... MooMoo took about 1 hour 10 mins to complete the 1st 10km.
I like this quote "Each race is a new race! Seize it. Live it." MooMoo thinks that each race is a totally NEW and DIFFERENT experience for her. ^=^
GREAT to see the 15km marking... 10km more to go!!! This guy looked so FIT right... Haha... didn't intend to take his backside... just so happened that he was walking beside the 15km marking when MooMoo snapped the picture.
MooMoo's legs getting more and more tired after 15km... but just gotta hang on for one last lap. The skies were getting darker and darker and this is how dark it is when MooMoo reached 21km marking.
MooMoo's shins were getting so tired that it felt like cramping at any moment. Luckily, it didn't cramped, else MooMoo would be limping all the way to the end of the race.
So HAPPY to see the 23km marking and MooMoo took about 3 hours 5 mins. 2km more to go... and MooMoo was basically walking and slow jog all the way as her legs were very tired already... It's all about 'PERSERVERANCE'!!!
MooMoo was so damn HAPPY when she saw the finishing line.... MooMoo did it!!! She completed her 1st 25km and there's a nice finisher-T plus a nice finisher medal! ^=^
* MooMoo looking forward to her next 1st half marathon next Sat night. She will be running it with Piggy. It will be Piggy's 1st half marathon too.
