MooMoo didn't do very well in the GE Women10K this year. She wonders why... The weather ain't that bad, she was there on time, started on time at 7:30am, knee does not give that much of trouble... really not much excuses for doing badly... So, what's missing here?!? =p
Halfway through the run, she suddenly thought of her brother. She can imagine how difficult it is for him, when she herself find it so difficult to maintain her timing, not even to say beat her best timing. Just a little hot sun can just make MooMoo go slower and slower... what more to say the pain that can just make you wanna give up totally. It almost set MooMoo in tears.
Initially, after the 5km mark, MooMoo slowed down pretty much as she know she could no longer beat her timing... till she saw this disabled girl running so fast past her. This made MooMoo felt bit guilty for slacking and ran faster towards the finishing line.
Imagine.... if you are required to run less than 1 hour for the 10km, else something bad will happen to you... think for this reason, you will be very motivated and make sure you will keep to the time. Sometimes, certain stress can really make you go the extra mile. Haha.
MooMoo went to Balance and Pilates to stretch it out after the run. After lunch, went for another Step class before heading home. The last class really spoil MooMoo's day but she made it up with Macdy's Chocolate Sundae!!! ^=^
* No one knows what you're capable of. Not even you! That is a FACT. Do what is right for you! Do not pay attention to the opinion of others. Unless it is constructive to some degree.
